Captain Denny
Denny is our ship's captain and enjoys providing clients with an extraordinary experience on the beautiful waters of Grand Traverse Bay. He holds a USCG 50 Ton Masters license with a sailing endorsement.
Captain Michael
Michael is a native Michigander. He has sailed most of his life and professionally since 2014 with a 100 ton Master Offshore and Great Lakes / Inland Lakes Licence. Having sailing in many exotic world locaitons, he still considers Grand Traverse Bay his favorite.
First Mates
Jess
Jess grew up in the Traverse City area and has sailed on various vessels to far-reaching destinations across the Great Lakes and beyond. Her passion for sailing led her to purchase her own boat, where she honed her skills firsthand. Now a valued member of Two Brothers Sailing, Jess is on her journey to becoming Captain Jess in the near future!
Tiffany
With over nine years of sailing experience, Tiffany has a deep love for the water—especially the sparkling shores of West Bay in Traverse City. She races every Wednesday with Captain Michael at the local yacht club and thrives on sharing the beauty of the bay with others. Her goal is to inspire a love of sailing in everyone who comes aboard.
Amanda
A proud Traverse City native, Amanda believes that any day spent on the bay is a day well spent. She enjoys both competitive and leisure sailing and joined Two Brothers Sailing as a First Mate for the 2024 season..
Shannon
Shannon loves all things outdoors and is happiest surrounded by the natural beauty of Northern Michigan. In the winter, you'll find her skiing—both alpine and nordic. During the summer, she enjoys swimming, scuba diving, and sailing. Shannon joined Two Brothers Sailing in the 2024 season!
